Axiom has a built-in amp simulator, but did you know that it is also loaded with 10 excellent overdrive and distortion pedals, all based on the acclaimed Destructor technology?
The BCA effect pedals have a particular sound on their own and are not really inspired by other brands’ pedals. Also, if you want to create your own, you can!
Here’s an overview of the characteristics of all these pedals:
BLUE DRIVE

BLUE DRIVE = brilliant type of distortion
ARMY DRIVE

ARMY DRIVE = filthy sounding distortion leaning towards a fuzz pedal
OVERDRIVE

OVERDRIVE = natural “neutral” sounding overdrive
OVERGRIND

OVERGRIND = coloured overdrive that can be used as a boost in front of amps, particularly useful with metal amps
METHAL DRIVE

METHAL DRIVE = produces that typical Metal distortion
GREEN DIST

GREEN DRIVE = overdrive with boosted medium frequiencies
WAVE SHAPER

WAVE SHAPER = electro oriented distortion that works also very well on guitars and enables you to make very original distortions sounds hard to obtain with other more classic sounding distortions
ORANGE DIST

ORANGE DIST = bright sounding distortion
FUZZY TONE

FUZZ TONE = generates a filthy sounding fuzzy tone (Hendrix, …)
CRUNCH BOOSTER

CRUNCH BOOSTER = overdrive that is particularly handy as boost, in front of an crunchy amp, or just to get that extra volume boost during solos.
MAKE YOUR OWN
Did you know that you can also use the built-in Destructor plug-in to create your own pedal? Load it up into Axiom, and just start with one of the ” Pedal” presets then tweak the parameters to your liking, or load the pedals tone map and navigate across pedal tones with the mouse.
