Today Roger Gamon tests Re-Guitar, and he likes it, check out his review/demo video below!
Re-Guitar “lets you emulate many types of electric guitar pickups without the need to modify your favorite instrument” in the words of Blue Cat Audio. I’m personally really impressed with it – I was particularly interested in how it might work in getting jazz box/335 guitar tones – in my view it does really well.

I have a Roland Ready Fender Strat with an older GR-20 pedal. I am planning to include it into my Studio One work and now really interested if your offerings allow me a better method to use the info you’ve provided using my regular guitars. Would it still be better to use the GR pedal for midi and dabble with your Re-Guitar? I also have a nice Fender acoustic guitar (with an internal pickup) as well as a Fender acoustic Bass. I use a good Mackie mixer with my instruments that works well with Studio1 and midi keyboards in Windows 11. I have loads of vst. I am always trying new things. BTW, I love the BCA vst Gain 3.
Thank you for your message. For MIDI you can indeed keep your GR-20. Re-Guitar can definitely help you virtually change the pickups of your Strat or enhance the acoustic tones from your piezo. You may want to try out the demo!
