We are happy to announce the update of Blue Cat’s MB-7 Mixer and Blue Cat’s PatchWork, our two plug-ins able to host VST plug-ins.
With this update, VST Hosting has been improved for better compatibility with third party VST plug-ins:
- Improved compatibility with plug-ins that do not support sample rate changes (Nebula).
- Improved compatibility with synths or effects that internally use VST presets banks: the entire state was not properly restored with the session (Nexus, Korg Legacy series or D16 Sigmund for example).
The MB-7 Mixer plug-in’s memory footprint has also been reduced so that you can use even more instances in 32-bit sessions.
To get the update, simply open the registration email and click on the download link. (You may have to refresh the page to see the new version). If you don’t have these plug-ins yet, check the demos, and do not miss our december deals!
