The Miaow Wah plug-in provides several ways to control its filter : manually (with an expression pedal like a regular Wah pedal, or with automation), with an LFO (that can be synced to your DAW) or with the “Auto” mode, using an envelope follower that moves the filter according to your playing, following the attack on the guitar (or any other instrument).
If you do not have an expression pedal, this last mode is very handy to get a realistic sounding Wah in your recordings. Check out Hans Van Even’s demo below where he uses the auto mode on all 3 guitar tracks.
