Routing Individual Tracks from Dorico to Another DAW

If you have been using Dorico and wish you could overcome its mixer limitations, this tutorial is for you!

It shows you how to route individual tracks from Dorico to any other DAW and manage individual tracks from there, applying effects and mixing outside of Dorico. This may typically be useful for surround mixing, adding effects or audio samples that are not available in Dorico.

“The great thing is Blue Cat Audio Connector can stream each individual Mixer signal from the VST Insert slot to an outside receiver. I use Reaper for it… and then i can receive the signal for each individual instrument inside of Reaper or Cubase and can apply my own presets and FX directly from the live stream from Dorico Pro 6.

I use the local network mode for sender and receiver and for each individual instrument i raise the port number , of course receiver and sender should have the same port. It works perfectly.”
