Blue Cat Audio Updates Axiom, PatchWork, MB-7 Mixer and Late Replies

Paris, 2022/03/28: Blue Cat Audio ( https://www.bluecataudio.com ) has released new versions of Blue Cat's PatchWork, Axiom, Late Replies and MB-7 Mixer, their multi-effects processors also capable of hosting third party plug-ins.
These free updates add the ability to load third party Audio Unit plug-ins that are not compatible with Apple Silicon while running natively on the M1 processor. PatchWork and Axiom applications now also include a network server mode to be run remotely from another app with the recently released Connector plug-in. They also include several enhancements and fixes (full change list below).
The free update can be downloaded from the same location as the original full version (link received by email upon purchase). Demo versions are available on www.bluecataudio.com in most plug-in formats for Mac and PC (and as a standalone application for PatchWork and Axiom). All four plug-ins are on sale until the end of April (up to 23% off).
What's new for all plug-ins:
- Native Apple Silicon (M1) version can now load Audio Units that are not compatible with Apple Silicon (via the MacOS bridge).
- Presets can now be loaded via MIDI even when the user interface is closed.
- Fixed MPC Beat plug-in not loading.
- Fixed VST3 version not always loading properly in Ableton Live 11.
- Fixed latency compensation changes not always picked up by host applications.
- VST3: Fixed parameters update issues in Studio One when bouncing tracks.
- Fixed VST & VST3 automation not recording properly in some hosts (Cubase 11, Ableton Live).
What's new for PatchWork 2.52 & Axiom 1.62:
- New network server mode to run as an audio/MIDI processing server for the Connector plug-in.
- Improved MIDI events timing precision in the application.
- Audio engine can now be restarted from the audio settings window in the application.
- Windows: ASIO Control panel can now be launched from the audio settings window in the application.
