User Interface

Redesigned user interface: create your own grid layouts and choose controls within the user interface.
More than 40 types of built-in controls (knobs, faders, pads, switches...) with new hi resolution graphics.
New momentary pad controls.
Customize the background color of the Remote Control to easily identify instances.
Multitouch support for Windows (manipulate multiple controls at the same time with several fingers).
Use tone maps to morph between your presets, and create new tones for remote controlled devices/plug-ins.
Up to 128 controls available (instead of 64).
Fixed window opacity changes not shown in plug-in when host application modifies it.
Fixed selected text in text edit box sometimes not easy to read on Mac depending on the color scheme.
Fixed text edit boxes sometimes loosing focus when hovering mouse over other controls.
Improved skin loading time on slow hard drives.
Minor graphics optimizations and performance improvements for Hi resolution displays.
Fixed Mac installers not showing brand image in dark mode.
Windows: multiple GUI display and HiDPI performance improvements.
Windows accessibility: native system widgets are now scaled according to text size settings on Windows 8 and newer.
Windows: fixed return key sometimes unexpectedly forwarded to host while typing in a text edit box.
Windows: fixed context menu not always displayed in the right position when the window spans across several screens with different DPI.
Fixed revert current preset not always triggering undo properly
Fixed Audio Inputs/ Outputs selectors should not appear in the app's audio/MIDI settings.

MIDI Control

Use MIDI notes, pitch bend, NRPN, 14-bit CCs, aftertouch or channel pressure MIDI events in addition to existing MIDI CC.
MIDI thru: let MIDI events go thru the plug-in.
Application can now synchronize with devices/apps using MIDI Beat Clock or MIDI TimeCode (MTC).
MIDI settings window can now be resized to display more parameters.
Optimized MIDI settings window display on Windows (load time and scroll).
MIDI Settings window now splits parameters into multiple pages for faster access.
MIDI Settings window now shows custom display names if any.
New "MIDI Learn Once" command to speed up MIDI learn setup.
Optimized preset load upon MIDI messages when using several hundreds of user presets.
Fixed plug-in sending Bank number 0 when loading a preset that is not located in a bank.

Standalone Application

Synchronize transport and BPM with devices/apps using MIDI Beat Clock or MIDI TimeCode (MTC).
Windows: ASIO driver now keeps running when ASIO Cotro panel is opened from the app audio preferences.
Windows: the application now follows ASIO driver buffer changes made in the ASIO control panel or external ASIO configuration app.

Fixed Audio Unit registration issues in Logic and GarageBand after using the demo version.
Improved whitespace stripping to streamline username/key registration.
App can now receive and send MIDI even when no audio interface is selected.
Find currently selected preset easily in the menu (folders containing the preset now display a check mark).
Show current preset in Finder/Windows Explorer.
Plug-in can now send Bank Select and Program Change messages upon changes in the user interface to keep in sync with external controllers.

Now available as a standalone application (can run without any host application)
Added an option in global & preset input settings to send MIDI events when MIDI-enabled parameters are modified in the plug-in (to update control surfaces accordingly). These MIDI output messages work independently from the usual Remote Control outputs (it's only for control surface feedback).
Improved undo management and automation when using the mouse wheel to move knobs and sliders.
Fixed VST3 version not showing in Cubase.
Fixed VST3 version not loading properly in Ableton Live 11.

New Features and Improvements:

Brand new GUI design, with improved usability and touchscreen support.
The GUI can now be zoomed from 70% to 200%.
Now packaged as a single plug-in.
The plug-in now sends MIDI CC events only when parameters change or a new preset is loaded.
Now supports retina displays on Mac
VST: the user interface is now properly resized in Cubase on Windows.
New installer on Mac.
Brand new presets management system.
Presets can now be selected using MIDI Program change and bank select messages (can be activated with the presets menu/MIDI Program Change item), or MIDI CC events for next/previous preset.
Copy/paste the plug-in's current state from the presets menu using the system clipboard.
Full Unicode Support.
Updated demo limitations: up to 5 instances allowed, bypass time changed to half a second, and bypass parameter is not affected anymore.

Apple Silicon (M1 processor) support.
Now compatible with MacOS Catalina and Big Sur.
VST3 plug-in format support.
Dropped support for Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.8 and earlier.
Dropped support for legacy RTAS and DirectX plug-ins formats.

Note: this new version can be installed side by side with the previous version for backward compatibility reasons. Installing this new version won't break your previous projects.
